JCRC Flyers Club

We are a group of about forty pilots that enjoys a variety of flying and the camaraderie that comes with it.  The flying field easily accommodates most planes, multirotor drones, and helicopters.  We have about two acres that we mow regularly surrounded by another 200+ acres of grass field that is mowed regularly.

We fly year-round, weather permitting, which usually means we only miss a couple weeks per year.   We have two days (Thursdays and Sundays) set aside for general flying (mostly fixed wing) and use Tuesdays for FPV planes and multirotors.  The rest of the week is available for individual flying.

The club is chartered by the AMA (#5096) and all pilots are required to be AMA members in addition to the club membership.  We assist new pilots in building and flying most any type of model that may be of interest.  The one exception is turbine-powered aircraft.

Since we moved, we are seeking to revise the location of our FAA-approved FRIA site.

Visiting pilots (AMA Members) are welcome to come and fly and visitors are always welcome to the field and talk about our favorite hobby!    Come out and say Hi!!
